Disclaimer: Well, I googled for “Disclaimer” and it read something like this.. ” Law a statement denying knowledge of something”. So whatever s*** I talk, u r not supposed to shout out. And therz nothing humorous in this post. Keep away if you are xpecting one.
I respect media and adore them for bringing out the truth. Unfortunately, I have to think twice when I try to repeat the same statement by prefixing media with the word Indian. Doesn’t matter what the medium is.. Print, Television, Web…. Really vexed up with the coverage they give to unnecessary news. In fact, we can’t even call it a news but rather the media creates news out of anything.
Recently I saw an article on a so called Andhra website with a tag line Dare to Write. The title of the article read “Ramesh Prasad’s Angry With Rajamouli?”.(Don’t worry abt who Prasad or Rajamouli is, keep in mind they are high profile celebrities.) Fine… for any layman like me, it sounds as if there might be some misunderstanding between Ramesh Prasad and Rajamouli and the question
It is natural to wonder why the soft spoken, reserved, controversy free head of Prasad groups, Ramesh Prasad is very furious with Rajamouli.
Well, if a person as important as the heart to the group is being sent away, who would not be furious. There is no one in the industry who doesn’t know about Nagineedu, the man who works in Prasad Labs. The work of the
Though
That’s why, many are talking that though he may not express his displeasure in open, he would surely be miffed with Rajamouli from inside.
Hell with that question
The same day I read another article about anchor
Now, this one is from a TV show.. a special show for Half an hour in prime time. “బోనీ కపూర్ పై విరుచుకుపడిన రాం గోపాల్ వర్మ”(Ram Gopal Varma is furious about Boney Kapoor)…..well, the only mistake RGV has done is to express his feelings about Sridevi in his personal blog. An excerpt from his blog:
So, straight from her super stardom and magazine covers and her dazzling beauty on the silver screen, I saw her in Boney’s house serving tea like an ordinary housewife. I hated Boney Kapoor for bringing that angel from heaven down to being just an ordinary housewife.
And quoting the above paragraph this channel was confident enuf to say that RGV is not at all happy with Boney Kapoor because hez not allowing Sridevi to act. Perfect. And this lasted for half an hour with the anchor providing as many (il)logical reasons as possible to prove the statement authentic. Awesome!! And obviously they never mentioned the previous line - The woman who the men of the entire nation desired was suddenly left all alone in the world till Boney Kapoor stepped in to fill the vacuum.
I can quote hell lot of such examples. But I was just wondering, don’t you think the soul purpose of media is to bring out the truth and infuse some social awa
Not over yet. I wud like to bore u some more by pointing this quotes for u.
“We can't quite decide if the world is growing worse, or if the media is just working harder at it.”
“The media no longer ask those who know something to share that knowledge with the public. Instead they ask those who know nothing to represent the ignorance of the public and, in so doing, to legitimate it.” – Anonymous (An example for this are the cricket reviews. Every damn channel has their own specialist panel who pour out their cricketing wisdom to us.)
“The public have an insatiable curiosity to know everything. Except what is worth knowing. Journalism, conscious of this, and having tradesman-like habits, supplies their demands.” --Oscar Wilde
“People everywhere confuse what they read in newspapers with news.” -- Abbott Joseph Liebling
By the way… the title says.. Media.. Dare to.. complete the statement with some interesting stuff
Good one,..u didn't speak about politics with media. Each news paper in India to establish them self publish biased new for political parties... And the if some one Die or got rapped in the streets... then its like a festival for media...No real NEWS for Indian. Today July 10 - Silence Day. Its better to be Silent and make use of common sense and inteligence to understand such logical and unrealistic pathetic news (??) by media.
